Lol @ you comparing Joe's band to Nick's "pandering". This thread is MUSIC related girl, at least compare their music

Also Joe panders just as much, the difference is that it doesn't get reported by the media like Nick's and he doesn't have 1000 obsessed ATRL haters posting the same stories all over again.

1. Tamar Braxton is one of the best vocalists of all time. Or could be if she was disciplined enough to stick to her training and get rid of the stage antics. She's also the best R&B/Soul artist of this decade.
2. Nicki is the rapper with the best stage shows. And the very best lyricist of this decade when she puts forth the effort to prove it.
3. Sam Smith is overrated and vocally inferior to many. And I don't see what he's done for the LGBT community.
4. The Weeknd is a vocalist's nightmare. But his latest era is the gold standard in terms of marketing.
5. Taylor is below mediocre but some of her melodies are amazing. She should be an EP artist cause her albums...
6. Thanks to the Where Have You Been video, Rihanna's stardom make sense but she hasn't danced or done anything remarkable really since then so I guess it doesn't.
7. The #2 star is usually better (Madonna vs Janet, Britney vs Christina).
8. Meek Mill is dope af. Drake shouldn't have been pardoned for ghostwriting and he shouldn't have won the beef. Not with those diss tracks.
9. Tupac was above average. But he was a pioneer so I get the hype. His rapping has just always been overrated.
10. Beyoncé is a legacy artist. Her hype is based off of her marketing but her sales don't match it. But I get the feeling she's more interested in legend status than sales.
11. Even though her vocal technique is disastrous, Ariana should be the top pop star along with Gaga (when she's sane), Adele, Tinashe, and Carly.
12. Katy can sing very well despite her awful technique. I really don't understand the criticism because her timbre is amazing.
13. Madonna is amazing. But a dance queen she is not.
14. Bionic is damn near perfect.

Taylor has too much power in the industry, more than any one artist ever should.

Adele isn't a good vocalist, isn't emotive, and is usually a bad, uninspired songwriter. Her voice is annoying and most of her songs would be better if someone else sang them.

Born This Way is one of the worst albums released by a pop girl this decade and is worse than all 3 of Katy's albums.

Beyonce's discography is very bland.

Gaga is not the queen of pop
ARTPOP isn't the album of the decade
Britney sings live

Paparazzi & Alejandro are among Gaga's worst songs.
Meghan has no good song.

Honeymoon is Lana's best album.
Walking on Air is trash.
The S&M Remix > the original.

1989 only has like two good songs on it.

I agree with everything except Honeymoon being better than BTD

Gurl bye I love me some Katy, but Born This Way in its entirety crushes anything by Katy.

That being said, they are both striving for completely different things and the comparisons are annoying because there's no logic. Like Teenage Dream & Born This Way, one is light, fun and poppy, the other is dark, edgy and confronting - you're probably going to like one more and it just depends on your personality. They both have good music.

Adele has an ugly voice. Like, I didn't always feel that way, but I just heard a new single of hers in Starbucks the other day and it confirmed my feelings upon hearing hello a few months ago. Her voice has gotten rougher and huskier and just sounds ugly to me (might be related to smoking?)
