Eight-year-old boy learns how to do 'drag' makeup on himself after begging his mother to book him a tutorial - and a selfie of the results is sweeping the internet

His mother Season, 35, supported him and booked a tutorial
His makeup artist posted a selfie which has been liked 140,000 times

Ethan Wilwert, from Port Charlotte, Florida, would watch his Season, 35, putting on her makeup in the morning and begged to have a tutorial at MAC to try drag and theater styles.

He was given a makeover by artist Joey Killmeyer who styled one half of Ethan's face, so he could finish off the look by himself - and the young boy seemingly picked up the makeup skills quickly.

Killmeyer posted a selfie from his session with Ethan which went viral with more than 140,000 likes on Facebook.

Season told FEMAIL her son wanted to learn different makeup styles, one of which was drag, so he asked to have it done on himself.

She said: 'He's a normal eight-year-old boy who likes to do makeup.'

Season said she completely supports her son's curiosity and wants to share her message of 'unconditional love'.

Season said: 'He wants to learn how to do drag and theatre styles of makeup, as well as other styles.' But she said he does not usually wear such extreme makeup

The picture sparked debate with many Facebook commenters impressed with Season's openness although some disagreed with the young child wearing makeup

It's genuinely really nice to see a kid who's allowed to freely explore his interests and passions while receiving support from his parents along with unconditional love. I wholeheartedly approve of this and think it's absolutely great and that more parents should take notes

They shouldn't pressure, but if the kid wants to try something harmless, let them go for it!

The whole issue with kids is that they haven't properly developed neither mentally or physically. The makeup thing might ruin his self-esteem in the future, but we'll see

This is fair. That said, I don't think he's regularly going around wearing makeup. I think this was a one time thing or something. But yes, young kids shouldn't regularly wear make up for healthy skin purposes

I don't know if a kid messing around with makeup for fun will make him think everything revolves around looks, though. He didn't do this for anyone BUT himself.
