Back after a holiday hiatus, "American Horror Story: Hotel" delivered a franchise low L+SD performance.
From a live+same-day standpoint, Wednesday’s “AHS: Hotel” was the “American Horror Story” franchise’s lowest-rated and least-watched episode yet.
Per Nielsen cable data, the episode drew a 0.85 adults 18-49 rating and reached 1.836 million total viewers.
Series lows, the numbers trail the 0.94 adults 18-49 rating and 1.846 million viewership mark posted by last week’s episode. Last week’s viewership mark was itself a series low.
The “Hotel” installment of “AHS” premiered with a 2.99 rating and 5.807 million live+same-day viewers on October 7, 2015. All but one of the subsequent “Hotel” episodes endured L+SD losses in adults 18-49 and total viewership.
Who cares if Lad Fad was just nominated for a Golden Globe and could very well find herself nominated for an Oscar when Godney Billboardney won the coveted award for Worst Actress at the 23rd annual Golden Raspberry Awards (an award for which Fad couldn't even land a nomination)?
They claim that she has no power yet go out of their way to convince us all that she has just enough power to convince the Golden Globes to give her a nomination on the strength of her name alone.
And after all this, they feel like they're in a position to shame her for being 'inconsistent'.
It's confusing and migraine-inducing.
It's not about coherent and logical arguments, it's about finding shade wherever possible.
