The reason why it was bumped is because JoJo had to delete the song from her EP and the video upload on YouTube.

And we're on page 4 right now, so clearly "no one cared" does not apply

Actually Donna just tweeted about it again yesterday, and today JoJo removed the song. So this wasn't all back in December.

Oh well.

What a dumb thing to complain about. JoJo blatantly sampled it, but it was a free release so she isn't making a penny from it

Well not when it's free... It's a song on a mixtape that is free. There's no royalties to be shared. It fully credited the original song for its sample. Legally JoJo doesn't need to do anymore than that. Ethically JoJo has gone above and beyond praising her for her inspiration

Jo credited her for the sample and the song is uploaded online for free. There is nothing more Jo needed to do. Donna is just clearly out of touch with how these things work.
