I think there should be a move that emulates "Skill Link", maybe "Power Link" or something. For funsies, I decided to do a calc with Cinccino on the difference between a CB Tail Sweep w/ Skill Link, and a LO Tail Sweep using the "Power Link" move.

252 Atk Choice Band Cinccino Tail Slap (5 hits) vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Fur Coat Furfrou: 185-225 (52.2 - 63.5%) -- approx. 99.6% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

252 Atk Life Orb Technician Cinccino Tail Slap (5 hits) vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Fur Coat Furfrou: 240-290 (67.7 - 81.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

It'd effectively be like getting an attack rise tbh!

During gym battles, like the anime I use the same amount of Pokemon as the gym leader. I don't do this on my first run through, but during my 2nd /3rd I always do this. It makes it much more challenging and intense and more like the anime. And on the 3ds with 3D>>>> I feel like I'm straight from the anime

Maybe tonight or tomorrow we may get an announcement then corocoro will give us more

Do you box the Pokemon if you have more than the gym leader or what? That's probably really **** for X and Y where they only have 3.

Also is that still the rule? Didn't Ash use 3 Pokemon against Grant's 2. I could be wrong tho.

One thing i want to be fixed in Z is the pacing.... I love that it takes long till u get your 3 badge but after that is gym after gym... it gets boring, it feels rush and also make my late pkmn additions like a non event cause i dont have much time to spend with them and i dont want to have a team full of 5-6 as soon as the 3rd gym...

I never thot about it, cute idea tho Imma try on my current game.

For challenge I always set the game to Set rather than Shift, since that mode is a bit extra. It's usually nothing more than an inconvenience when training weaker pokémon but in battles like the Champion it's intense.

i only use set in gym leader/e4 and other major battles

What's set vs shift?
