It's not even about opinions anymore! Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta is the best and most entertaining thing that has happened to music in a long, long time!

Janet's performance was great too except for one thing... why doesn't she hire someone to reinvent her choreographies? all of them are truly stuck in the past, not that I don't enjoy them but come on, she's been doing the same dance moves since forever!

my quick take on the awards...

-for a 40 year old, janet can dance...
-unfortunately, her brother jermaine really annoys me, seeming to be more than happy that he's back in the spotlight now that his brother is dead. and he really has a son named jermajesty??
-taylor swift's humility amazes me. go her!
-carrie and kelly killed it...yay american idol alums...
-but big boo to adam lambert. was never a fan of his to begin with, but that was absurd, weird, and just plain wrong of a performance. it's nothing to do with what was done, but how we went about it.
-whitney houston - god bless her. she looked nice though.
-rihanna CANNOT sing live. said it back when she sang at the VMAs, but she was horrible...
-on the flip side, her mentor and alicia keys killed it. GO YANKS and go that song.
-and finally, for as weird as she is, lady gaga cant actually give a good performance. and she really looks nice without wearing all that makeup.

I think it's fantastic that Kelly gave a vocal performance rather than a flashy performance and she's accumulating such positive reviews; Most saying she was a highlight.

Good for her. She nailed it tonight, and looked fantastic. (All my biased opinions aside, I actually liked her hair and thought she dressed smart for her weight)
