Although I'm siding more with the other 4, I feel bad for Camila too. The fact of the matter is that none of them auditioned to be in a girl group in the first place. I can see why they would want to go solo. AT the same time, I don't think Camila should have gone out and done anything if she didn't go to the group and talk it out with them fist (I'm just assuming she didn't). She's branching out and creating a name for herself and I think that's just a bit worrisome for the other girls.

The other girls. They clearly aren't happy about this duet, which means that Camila either did it despite them telling her they didn't agree with it, or she just was shady and did it behind their backs.
They just had their breakthrough hit and are getting bigger and bigger. They should have loyalty to the group and not try to promote themselves as solo artists yet....doing that is only going to bring extra attention to that person, and break cohesion in the group. If you say that they should all be allowed to, could you imagine if they all were off doing solo songs right now? How messy that would be? There would be no cohesion in the group, and it would deteriorate rapidly. That's why they all should hold off, and 4 of them seem to get that.
Camila recorded a song with another breakthrough Pop artist (who just had a hit single), filmed a video for it, and has been promoting it on several TV shows and big radio events. She's promoting herself separately as a solo artist, to the same industry, demographic and audience that 5H as a group is trying to target (and that all of the girls hope to break into as solo artists when the group disbands, but are holding off on it). She's placing more importance on herself, which isn't fair to the other girls because they want solo careers one day too. It's already shown with radio stations tweeting Camila and 5H separately, referring to them as "Camila and the girls", etc.

All of this  Lauren, and to a lesser extent Dinah, are the only ones who have a maintained professional attitude. It's clear that the other three want the group to be a success because it'll benefit them as individuals - Camila's just the one that's least subtle about this.  Coincidentally enough, I remember people saying she was only talking about 5H2, because, IKWYDLS was top 60 on iTunes, i.e 'flopping', but she was talking about #5H2 even when IKWYDLS returned to the #20s. It's foolish to say she doesn't care about the group, even if it is for selfish reasons. Mani and Mija are cut from the same cloth, one's just more subtle about it.

I am really sad about this situation. They are the first act in a LONG time I fell in love with. I am obsessed with them, I love them so much that seeing them breaking up like this makes me sad and eventhough I love them five to death, I can't help it but feel bad for Camila because she must feel so bad around four girls that despise her... I am sad, I hope they come through this and make me proud. They have everything a girlband needs to have.
NONETHELESS, I also feel like ATRL (and Harmonizers) do the most as I don't think this is all that.

Except no. As many people have pointed out, it's pretty normal for a group to agree to hold off on solo music projects until the group disbands.....one person doing a solo song is going to draw more attention to that one member and cause a disbalance in the group. And if they're all allowed to, imagine if they are all off doing solo songs......do you know how messy that would be? They'd barely be a group anymore and the group would deteriorate rapidly.
