Taylor is a lot of things but never thirsty.

Either way, she's obviously winning (at minimum) Pop Vocal Album, so it's not like she's not going home empty handed.

Anyways, there is nothing wrong about what she's doing. Michael Jackson followed up Off The Wall with Thriller because he too felt that he was snubbed from the AOTY category with OTW. I don't understand the lengths you guys will go to shun her. This thread is essentially hating on an artist for being motivated to win something.

She'll get Record of the Year for "Blank Space." Pop Vocal Album might go to Kelly Clarkson, just because a surprising amount of the voters are from Nashville, where she's very well-liked, and they do take into consideration singing talent when there's a worthy nomination (remember when Pink won the female rock song for "Trouble" before they axed the category?). I think Kelly's won it before, too.

For every Jon Caramanica, there's a Stephen Erlewine, so I wouldn't bet on album. The album will probably go to Alabama Shakes -- huge pop albums usually don't get enough votes in that category because of splits. The Grammy's are still trying to appear racially-conscious (they only recently started including hip-hop albums every year) and "hip" (Taylor, The Weeknd). Ultimately, what ends up happening is that voters who tend to vote for the popular artists will be split, this year between Taylor, Kendrick, and The Weeknd, so it'll likely go to one of the boring options.

If you're talking about her performances at the Museum, that's because they had an exhibit on her (which broke attendance records) so she went and performed a few songs to thank them.

I highly doubt she'll win AOTY. It'll go to some stuffy folk-rock group per usual.

FYI: Grammy is based on industry people's votes, not critics.

Based on some posts in here, basically if you make a great song as a single then you're thirsty for a Grammy. Wtf.

She never played a stadium with more than 70k, that's what she meant And the show was filmed at her biggest venue to date, which is why she said that.

And yes, she's had musical guests before, but not on the level of Mick Jagger, Alanis, JT, Steven Tyler, etc

She is but I would too tbh so I can't judge. Maybe later in her career she won't be. Many artists, especially mainstream ones, are very thirsty for them

RAM is fantastic of course. One of the most deserved winners in a while.
