I heard some "Alternative" music using this and it still sounds good. So maybe it's your speakers????? Every speaker is different depending on how the frequency comes out. I've bought some of those SkullCandy headphones and they sucked HORRIBLE. Everyone said they were good, but ewwwww, I'll stick with iPod headphones.

This is PERFECT sound if you have the right speakers. I have pretty high tech speakers, I spent like over 40 bucks on these, so they aren't like crappy or cheap. It's like surround sound.

The sound gets quieter because like i said this basically pumps everything up making it seem like you're listening with the volume turned up. honestly i didn't bother to test this out cause i already know what it would sound like, its more like a eq on steroids rather than perfect.

but like i said sound is completely subjective and making a eq for yourself that you would find perfect would depend on what system you're using, the soundcard, the physically setting of where the speakers are and what you personally like. the fact that most of you people are finding this "perfect" only says one thing to me.. you'd be needing hearing aids soon.

You guys don't get it. The sound is 100%, no 200% more flawless/perfect on my Aletec Lansing speakers.

I told you, IT'S YOUR FRACKIN' SPEAKERS.

I tried everything else and it sounds like ****. This is the best one I have tried so far. You guys must have different speakers, cause this is PERFECT for my speakers. Everything else is ****. Why do you think SOME people in this thread called it EPIC or "PERFECT" if some of y'all are complaining it's ******?

Don't shoot the messenger, but maybe you guys need to look at your speakers abilities and capabilities before doing such rubbish. On my speakers, this is the best thing to happen EVER.

ps: Speakers are and WILL be different from others. Try Skull Candy headphones vs. iPod classic headphones. The Skull Candy sounds like **** compared to the iPod classic. I'm sticking to the iPod ones. The Skull Candy ruins the music, ****** quality sound...

And I unplugged my Aletc Lansing. I can kinda see where you guys are coming from. It kinda does sound bad.

The sound is coming from my Laptop speakers, which I have no clue what brand they are. If you guys had a brain, you would know it's the speakers brand type that affects any type of equalizer sounds you add to it. It's like a Blu-Ray for instance. If you have a crappy boombox, of course the "sound" will be horrible and not breathtaking for a Blu-Ray.

Alrightly then, I'm done with this thread
