IT IS a solid pop album, IT IS cohesive, IT IS critically acclaimed as well,
But she wants us to believe it's like the new testament or something,

its the opposite actually grammys are using her for promo it seems (no that it isn't mutually beneficial)

i mean, it is a little ~selfish~ considering she already has a grammy for AOTY but really any artist would take the opportunity to campaign for a big award.
No, it'll probably be against her because people have been getting increasingly annoyed with her and this'll push it over the edge. Of course it won't be a huge deal but still.

The Macklemore backlash came from the fact that he defeated Kendrick in the rap category with an album that was mediocre at best. That alone was an insult to hip hop and the worst decision that was ever taken by the committee. The situation is different here. She'll suffer a backlash should she win against K.Dot but it won't have the same proportions than that Macklemore fiasco. She's not winning anyway

Not really, The Weeknd has nothing to do with Beck who was an obvious winner when you think of it. In fact he's the only one who literally doesn't stand a chance. Alabama Shakes and the token country album may pull an upset but not Abel. But yeah, they love to be unpredictable for some reason. Them rewarding a rap album with AOTY (for the 2nd time in history) would be pretty shocking. It would give them the buzz they're craving, instead of giving that award to the usual rock/country album

Yes. AotY is a once-in-a-lifetime thing. Just be grateful you already have one and keep scoring noms, don't be greedy.
