For instance, Beyoncé — her work ethic was amazing. When I was in the studio with her when she did “I Was Here,” she sang for three hours straight. Then she says, "I’m gonna have a dinner break now and then I’m coming back." "I go, Why are you coming back?" She says, "I’m going to get it better."
Gaga, we were in the studio for three nights — doing vocals, doing the arrangements and stuff. T he way I wrote it was very somber. And Gaga was like, "No, this has to be epic." So it was really her vision, the way that record came out, the way it went, and how powerful it is.
Trying to imagine Britney ever caring even 10% about her work and her music at any point throughout her career

She'll never care as much as them or Katy about her career

She’s very professional, everything went smooth and she’s a great person. My verse I did on that song... she’s really a genius, she was by the mixing board and telling the guy what to take in and take out. She’s really hands-on with her music, she knows music.
I did my verse in the studio, and then [Dr. Luke] called me said, 'Hey man, she wants you to change up a couple bars, so she wants to meet you in the studio. So I jumped in my car, drove fast as I could to get to the studio. I got to the studio before she came. I fixed up all the bars, she came in, [and] she loved it. The rest is history. She's super professional. She's a genius
