It's getting great reviews! Almost every review gave it an 80+. Plus it's short, so I'll probably give it a proper listen tonight or tomorrow.

Omg I need to listen to this album in full. Sue or in a season of crime is great, and while I only know a good selection of his songs, the lead single/Lazarus have made this sound like a promising album!

This is really good. It's as good as I'd hoped it would be. It's a tie between Lazarus and Dollar Days for my favorite track right now.

The title track is so good

Such a cool record. I love the little electronic beeps and boops in the first section of Blackstar. Tis a Pity She Was a ***** is so catchy and groovy, and I love the drums in the climax. The guitars on Lazarus are amazing. Girl Loves Me has some great vocal hooks. Dollar Days is beautiful, and I love the acoustic guitar on it. The final track is a bit repetitive, but it's a great closer. After one listen, my highlights are Tis a Pity She Was a *****, Lazarus, Girl Loves Me, and Dollar Days, and my least fave is Sue (Or in a Season of Crime), I think.

On my second listen, and this is pretty great.

Not experimental but it doesn't have to be, David has been there and done that already. These are just good/great cuts.

The only song I kinda don't care about is Sue.

His best album for years... It's something else. Best album of 2016 so far (easy...) and it will be high at the end of the year either.

After second listen, I'd say that it is quite brilliant. My favorite songs are Dollar Days and Lazarus and Blackstar

This album has grown on me even more. This record is quite brilliant and is probably going remain very high on my list at the end of the year. It's really his best in years.

This should not be where you start. The Rise And Fall Of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars, Scary Monsters (And Super Creeps) and Let's Dance are probably the most digestable I guess. His compilation albums should really be where you begin though.
