I'm not one to go out and party, but I had plenty of opportunities especially living in residence. College is not everything it's hyped up to be though. It's more stressful than it is fun.

Well seeing as how I have over 60K posts I feel like I can answer this

I do have a normal life. I go out as much as I did before joining and I don't see this negatively affecting my life. When things get busy as during the university semester, I just post less because I have to make sacrifices and this is the first to go

why are you making atrl like its an obligation

I just started here (and was active) when I was finishing up in college / university. It was definitely the site I'd wander onto when I should have been researching / writing, but generally it was too embarrassing to open in public (and I always studied away from home) so that usually sorted that out.

I definitely managed too much social time during those years. Then after we all wrapped up, all my friends fled around the globe. Enjoy it while it lasts!

Yes, it's pretty easy to maintain a social life, study for your degree and venture on here every now and then.

yeah. actually, in college (at least in my experience), it feels nice to get on the internet and relax between assignments and hanging out with people. you really start to value your free time more when your life becomes more active. that's not to say you have no time to yourself at all, though. you just have a limit.

I'm only on here when I'm at my coop job, in class, or like before i go to bed or if I'm watching tv. other than that I'm with my friends or doing stuff for my fraternity, partying with my brothers or for IFC. which is a lot of the time. i'd say i spend like 5% of my time on ATRL.

yea 4 sure. last year wasn't that normal tho bcuz I smoked and drank like every single day and did lots of other druggies occasionally, but I still got good grades. This past semester was a lot more work cause I had three (later four) jobs, but I still had to study my ass off. I didn't smoke that much any more, but I still got to drink most days. This coming semester I only have three jobs, and my schedule will be miles more manageable, so hopefully I can go out more. But I have to save up money for spring break and my birthday week lol.

I also don't post that much tho. Like I have binges when I'm not in school (the past month), but then I hardly am able to during the school year. It's kinda sad I miss out on so much queen Rih newz.

After starting uni I've started going days in a row without posting. It's kind of hard to fit it in with socialising with flatmates, partying 3-4 nights a week, lectures, prep work etc.

I would never open this site in public and I'm usually with my friends all the time at uni, so I don't come here often except at night before I sleep.

I honestly only post a lot when I'm on break from school. I tend to post like maybe a couple posts here and there while I'm at school. I get so caught up with school work, extracurriculars, my job, friends, etc...I tend to forget about ATRL. So yes I do live a normal life, but honestly it's not hard to be actively on ATRL and do regular college things. I would do that if I didn't forget about ATRL while at school, it's not like a don't procrastinate other ways.
