It depends. If the Billboard is interesting, provocative and they like what they see - people may check for the song/album. Its happened with me. But a lot of them are just there.

Im pretty sure Selena's new look - people havent seen her like this - and "Hands To Myself" catches the eye.

Right? I won't even go into how they did ZERO lead single research and had to scrap her promotion on Disney because the words were censored and changed from "Only got the summertime on my mind" to "only got the weekend on my mind". The song wasn't sent to Urban, Rhythmic, OR Pop.

Back on topic.. I'm so happy for Selena! As I've said earlier, I believe she is the next Rihanna/Britney in terms of addictive pop music with flawless melodies. Hopefully this becomes her GGGB and they milk as many singles as possible as long as they keep going top 10.

Did not even know Keke was ever signed to Interscope.

Billboards do help by attracting people's attention, at least GP is aware of Selena releasing new stuff.
