We have no way of knowing what the other girls have been offered individually. Even Beyoncé waited for Destiny's Child to be on hiatus/disbanded before she released solo material. It's just disrespectful on Camila's part to be doing this solo project right now when 5H are in the midst of making their second album. If I were in a band, I'd be pissed too if one of my bandmates was busy promoting a solo project instead of putting 100% of his or her energy into our forthcoming album. I'd happily support his or her solo projects if we were on break/disbanded, but I definitely would not if we were still together and about to release an album.

She's not good at masking her facial expressions and when she's not here for something, you always know. In reality, the other 3 girls feel the same way that Mani does about what Camila is doing

Who says she isn't? She's been at EVERY rehearsal, show, studio session?
She wrote a song with a good friend that she thought would be harmless, but Shawn's team ended up liking it more than expected. I doubt she had the intention when writing the track saying "OK I want this song to be a single that's heavily promoted and a big radio single that completely isolates me from the group"...

Normani has obviously talked about releasing her own single, Dinah has auditioned for movie projects, etc. And there is NOTHING wrong with doing small solo projects. It's unfair that Camila is dragged for taking up an opportunity that all the girls would have loved to have. If it was any of the other girl no one would care, but since it's Camila the "annoying" girl that's the most famous and is the lead singer, it's a big deal.

You're not getting it. Dinah and Mani's desire to have a go at solo career is something that's in the far future for them. Their priority is the group right now... especially Dinah. Nobody would have a problem with this if Camila had just waited until the group made a name for themselves first. Also, stop using Dinah's Moana role as if it's the same. They ALL would have benefited from that bc they'd be able to be on the soundtrack. How is the group benefitting from a hit solo song so early in their career?

Well, considering she has only one solo song, if people want to hear more Camilla Cabello they're kinda forced to listen to 5H. You guys are acting as if she committed some act of treason, it's clear if any of the other girls got this opportunity then they would have gone for it.

How do we know they'd all be able to sing on the soundtrack? And isn't Camilla gaining a bit more recognition better for the group itself. It's not like she's Beyonce or JT and is SO much more famous than the other girls. To a lot of the GP, she's a nobody. And it's not like the song is shaping up to be the biggest hit of the year. The majority of radio DJ's credit the song as Camilla from 5H. The song is a CRUCIAL part in keeping 5H's momentum until their next lead single drops, considering they've done nothing since worth it.

I'm not even a 5H fan nor do I follow them at all, I'm lit'rally only here for the kiis. But why didn't she just have another female artist sing on it then? She could've established herself as a legitimate songwriter and would be making bankT off of those roytalties coins. It's kind of clear she/her team wanted to establish her solo.

That's a positive way at looking at it.... IF radio DJ's said "Camila Cabello of Fifth Harmony"... do you not see how they address the others? 'Fifth Harmony AND Camila Cabello' 'Camila and the crew' and please, if Dinah got the role of Moana, the group would be all over that soundtrack. Anyway, this group and all its members are trash and they need social media training. Not supporting them and their shenanigans until they get it together. If they don't sort out their mess by the lead single, I'm done with them lmao

One of their members is getting more radio presence, so her voice and by extension the sound of the group that includes her voice is becoming more accepted on radio. This is the point that I NEVER understand why people don't get. People are free to think Camila is wrong, selfish, disloyal, etc., but there is a definite upside to the duet being popular IF the group doesn't let this tear them apart, which is up to all 5 of them.

The girls posted a picture recently in the studio with Camila absent. Camila may have been there to record her parts, which I guess is all she technically needs to be there for, but it completely throws off the group dynamic to have four of the girls recording all of their parts together while the fifth records her parts individually because she has a solo project to promote while the other girls are recording. And did Camila's vocals just magically appear on the track? She could have simply written the song with her friend and left it at that. But she went to a studio, recorded vocals for it, filmed a video for it, has promoted, etc. She could have easily turned down any offer she received from Shawn and/or his label to lend vocals on the track. Another female artist who doesn't have group commitments could have been used, Camila still would have received her royalty checks, and it would have helped establish her as a songwriter without hurting the group dynamic.

You keep saying this as if it's some sort of certainty, but in reality, this would NOT have happened. Disney musical soundtracks are made up of the songs that are sung by characters in the movie. So unless Moana has 4 sisters/best friends who all sing together in the movie, there would have been no place for the rest of 5H on the soundtrack.

I pretty much agree with this though
