Such a shame Silent Hills didn't go ahead. It looked like it had great potential, although if it was scrapped, I guess it was the complete opposite, and we all just made assumptions. Otherwise I don't see why they don't revisit it considering it had quite a bit of hype surrounding it.

I still remember playing the first one back in 1999 when I was 7 the only game I had screaming nightmares from.

Silent Hill 1 still remains my favourite Silent Hill game and truly a masterpiece.

It paved the way for all the horror games just like Alone in The Dark and Clock Tower did before it.
