Okay, I just talked to the recruiter and I really want to become a Commissioned Officer (Nuke) for the Navy.

He explained to me about MEPS and that whole process and I should just take some practice tests to get a feel for the ASVAB. He also assured me that you shouldn't worry about passing the physical tests before you even go through MEPS, just try to stay in shape.

I'm really nervous because my parents are strictly against it but it's what I want to do.

I'm also worried about not getting the opportunity to go into Nuclear Engineering.

Im in the same boat as you, I spoke with a recruiter right before the new year,
I took the practice test and score above average, my score will be kept

I gonna have a follow up with him this week, and talk about jobs
I am really doing it to learn skills and get free school pay

You're also told to strip to your underwear in a large group of guys while a few clothed older men take note of every inch of your body. Then after you've been examined, you go for the genital exam and hernia test.

I remember with mine, I was called next and was about to go to this one doctor who spoke better English than the other. Just as I was opening the door, the doctor who was even older and possibly German called and I swung over to him. I was just more comfortable being examined by a man who didn't seem as coherent.

But it's still a pretty sexual experience. Especially for one of the officers. He was a total homo. He was in hog heaven.
