Why did V+8 get formal farewell posts while Moony, Matty, and Gabe did not?
Because I'm not posting anything until I get votes from all of the judges. This is the kind of thing that is really serious and "oh they didn't write back in time" isn't good enough. I've received 4 votes and as it stands I don't have enough votes to save anyone, no. But I'm not denying someone a place in the competition just because a judge didn't write back to me. That's why I like it even if a judge says no, if they tell me, because simply not replying leaves me wondering if they've even seen the message.
You can infer from that what you will. I have work now but I'll be back in 7-8 hours and if I don't have a message from the fifth judge by then, I'll post the result and it will be final.

I just realised how awfully hypocritical that comment sounded... I don't want to have to go with only 4 judge votes, but it'd be approaching 24 hours since I sent the PM to the judges asking if they wanted to save someone then, and this judge has been online in that time. So I'll do it if I have to.

I'm assuming three judges voted to save one person and Lynx is waiting to see what the fifth judge's deciding vote will be. Otherwise he'd already know that nobody has a chance of being saved.

This is the moment you've all been anxiously awaiting. The seventh twist to be unlocked revealed that a "Group Save" is now in play, where the five judges (Sam, GotSkill, Hugamari, lovesong and Meowster) must come to an extreme majority decision of 4-1 or 5-0 in favour of saving one particular contestant in order for the save to be used. The save is optional and can be used at any point up until Round 11, the semi-finals.
This week, the save was debated to be used on either MattyTacos, ughgabriel or Moonchild after The 24 Hour Challenge. But did any of them get the save?
There were three votes in favour of saving Moonchild but unfortunately we need at least 4 in order for the save to be used. You're all amazing writers and had this save been used on any one of you, it would have been worth it in my opinion. But it's not just about my opinion, we need at least four unanimous votes.
