#10 Florence + the Machine - What Kind of Man
Number of Plays: 115
I was so nervous that Florence was going to disappoint after releasing one of my favorite albums ever, Ceremonials. I'm glad that she chose this song to come back after almost four years: it was the proof that she will always have her space in this industry.
#9 Janelle Monáe & Jidenna - Yoga
Number of Plays: 50
I could say a lot of things but BABY BEND OVA sounds about right.
#8 Nicki Minaj & Beyoncé - Feeling Myself
Number of Plays: 96
This is top ten in the best Nicki Minaj songs. She just goes all out, dragging the racists girls that tried to come for her last year but failed miserably. Bey is having fun in the track, doing what she does best: hip-hop. This is the dream team.
#7 Kendrick Lamar - King Kunta
Number of Plays: 50
There are so many flawless moments in just this song. The social commentary, the voice changes, the production, the instruments and the amazing lyrics. It's because of moments like this that Kendrick will win his Album of the Year award at the Grammys next month.
#6 Lana Del Rey - God Knows I Tried
Number of Plays: 22
God Knows I Tried is instantly one of the best Lana songs and the best record in Honeymoon. That song feels like a punch in the face more than anything on 'Ultraviolence': it's pure PAIN. Lana Del Rey can write about pain more than anyone.
#5 Rihanna - Bitch Better Have My Money
Number of Plays: 138
It's very sad that Rihanna is in the situation that she is right now, regarding her unfinished mess of an album. Because of that mess, people are forgetting that Bitch is one of the most brilliant moments of her career.
#4 Major Lazer, MØ & DJ Snake - Lean On
Number of Plays: 106
Diplo is not only a daddy, he is also the most talented producer in the top 40.
#3 Drake - Know Yourself
Number of Plays: 58
''I've always been me, I guess I Know Myself''. It might sound dumb, but it's powerful.
#2 Florence + the Machine - Mother
Number of Plays: 54
Mother has a different intro than the rest of Florence's album. It's a tropical mix of guitars and sounds that sounds like you are in a beautiful deserted island. And Florence's vocals are very calm - until the powerful chorus that makes a STORM in the beautiful island: she's asking her mother to make her a big grey cloud so that she can ''rain'' her problems. These are the most beautiful lyrics of 2015. That's all that we do during our lives: cry to our mothers searching for help, love or anything REAL in this ****ed up world.
Was Abel trying to make the best song of his career? Was it something that he was trying to do in the studio? I don't think so. I think he was just high and he was mad about this girl that wanted too much out of him and he ''just'' wrote one of my favorite songs ever. He is a mad genius and it's the lack of giving a **** that makes him this way.
Our faves will have to die a million times before they can write a better chorus than The Hills.
I hated Lean On at first but now is one of my favorite songs of 2015 and one of my most played ones too
Drake, Florence and Rihanna
I like The Weeknd, and the Hills isn't bad, but I prefer CFMF but great update!
