Zelda Wii U Will NOT be Happening. Found this really interesting discussion and got me thinking. I agree, I don't think it's happening for the Wii U. Before responding watch this and think about it for a sec, it makes sense.
Of course it will be. It was promised for the Wii U and Nintendo Direct also teased it for the Wii U. NX probably won't have the gamepad, which apparently had some importance on the game.
I haven't watched the video nor have I looked up the latest details about the NX but I just think (assuming the NX is a home gaming console) that it would probably be a Wii U to NX crossover much like Twilight Princess.
Receipts? Like honestly we would have a trailer or SOMETHING. All signs are pointing to an NX major release
No signs are pointing to a NX release because there's literally close to nothing official on either the NX or Zelda U (which was confirmed for the Wii U as said). They are probably planning something bigger as this year is the 30th anniversary of Zelda.
Tbh it will help sell the system so much. Imagine launch day one the first home console Pokemon game, Zelda NX, a new Mario game and smash remastered for the NX (with all DLC included + ice climbers / snake)
They're gonna do what they did for Twilight Princess when it got released, release it for both, and have it as a launch title for the NX.
At least that what the smart thing to do would be.
I feel like this could be it. I'm 50/50 on it being just nx and it being the way you said it. Honestly I hope it's on both so everyone can enjoy it, but if they want the NX to sell better they should release it just on nx or at least have backwards compatibility
