This Russian was bound to be the new Britney Spears back in 2000 when "Solo" arrived 2nd at the Eurovision, but for some reason she decided to stay only famous in the ex-URSS countries, where her debut album in Russian from 1999 and her 2001 English album each sold over a million copies. She's an extremely talented girl and her English is impeccable (poor Polina). |
| Ariana Grande
"Focus" might've been a massive disappointment, but I can't deny that she was very present in my 2015. Her concert in Milan was great, I met a guy I went out with (who eventually turned out to be mortally boring, so I told him I had "a flight to Finland to take" and ran away from the date). The only downside from the concert was maybe the fact that she feels awkward on the stage, she doesn't really make any eye contact with anyone. |

Her album was one of the best of the year, and her concert in Milan was great. She chose a small venue, and she felt so close to the entire crowd. She's an amazing performer, can't say anything bad about this girl. |
| Demi Lovato
I've been a fan since 2009, but I bought her entire discography this year. Helena is basically the girl who dominated the Greek music scene from 2003 to 2012, and she's still super relevant. |
| Polina Gagarina
The biggest discovery of the year. Polina is kinda like the Russian Katy Perry: not only she's a sweetheart, but she does look and smile like the American singer, only she's a better vocalist. |
