My A Levels were harder than my degree! I got AAB, 2 ums from AAA
The main tip I can give anyone studying for their A Levels is to do as much reading as possible, and with that comes making a lot of notes.
Revising for your exams
1. Get hold of the syllabus
2. Analyse the syllabus
3. Make notes for every point on the syllabus
4. Memorise your notes for each point of the syllabus, one by one.
5. As you go along, tick off the points of the syllabus you have learnt.
6. Once you have gone through and memorised the whole syllabus, go through it and see what you remember.
7. Concentrate on memorising your weaknesses you've identified
8. Now you've done that, do 10 questions for each point on the syllabus - Identify weaknesses and go revise them again
9. Now, you're on your way to at least a B. Get hold of as many past papers as possible.
10. Do one paper for each A Level a day and mark yourself using the given marking schemes.
11. Identify weaknesses based on the practice exams - go over and revise them again.
12. Don't try and incorporate unnecessary stuff into your exams answers - You don't get any extra points
13. For essay exams - Try and create Grade A standard model answers for the most common topics that come in the past exams.
Remember, A levels require a lot of regurgitating. The key to getting a good mark is memorising and regurgitating.
Good luck.
