Jordin Sparks has been forced to cancel her Australian promotional tour which included an appearance on the Australian Idol final this Sunday November 22.
Sparks fell ill earlier in the week and was taken to hospital on Wednesday night with acute appendicitis.
Jordin had her appendix removed and is now recovering. She twittered to fans with an update:

Feeling a little better but very sore. Thank you so much for your thoughts & prayers. It means so much & it's so powerful."
Jordin updated again just a few hours ago saying she's still in Pain!

Jordin was scheduled for various media interviews and a performance with Guy Sebastian of their brand new duet 'Art Of Love' at the Sydney Opera House during the Australian Idol finale.
