TiK ToK was a monstrous #1 single for nine weeks; it was the biggest song of 2010 in the USA - and a multitude of other countries - that sold 15 million copies. If
that is a quick-little-hit single, then
every Gaga single is more so. For your information, TiK ToK led to two more number one singles, a total of eleven (at least?) top ten hits, and a decent amount of albums sold. Both songs impacted culture very differently - but measuring that by using how it affected the artist's success is pointless as each song led the respective artist to great prospects.
And sales are "nothing to sneeze at" for you because it doesn't conveniently advantage your fave in this scenario.
