It makes NO sense. I mean, at first I thought they were delaying the release due to the first three singles not performing as well as an average Rihanna single, but to delay it this long is crazy. A tell all interview would honestly be the most interesting TV in years.

I hope this album is worth the wait, and judging by the lead off singles, it should be.

The question will be if that it what this is leading to. I think she had a pretty good sound already with 45S, BBHMM and the snippets for Higher etc. AO was the real odd one out of the bunch along with James Joint, especially if we talk about vocal delivery.

I hope she really works towards a pretty cohensive but experimental album, but I have a feeling that in the end we get LOUD realness from the tracklist, because she keeps recording and probably changing up things.

The last time I posted here was page 400. This is sad.

I've been very optimistic naive about this era since the beginning, often making excuses for some of the mess, but this is really becoming awful. Whoever thought that this antidiary thing was good enough to hold us over for 2 months (possibly more) needs to be fired. And the silence between the BBHMM video and the antidiary too...

I still think the album will be worth the wait. It's just sad that this could've been one of her biggest and most well hyped eras to date yet we got delays, silence, meltdowns and a bunch of cryptic 1-minute visuals

She is not taking times to work on this album, she's taking time to DELAY the album. One thing is to set a deadline 3 years from now and set your work politic to be "I will work slowly but I will make things right" and a whole other thing is to set a deadline and delay it multiple times. The time she's taking with this album wouldn't affect the music we are getting, the work she has put in it would affect it. We are getting the same album now that we would have gotten two months ago.
