With regards to the fact his father always refused to accept him as his child and even called him "a monster" when he was born + his mother died while giving birth to Tyrion just like Jons mother did, there seem to be a lot of indications that they are all siblings and part of the "three-headed dragon", the symbol of the House Targaryen. It would actually make sense that a non-Targaryen giving birth to a kid who has Targaryen blood and therefore supernatural powers would die while giving birth to them. Thats why Daenerys mother survived while Jons and Tyrions died.

Dany's mom died during childbrith as well.

I'm not sure if Tyrion is a Targ, it wouldn't surprise me if he were but I'm more likely to believe not.

Season 4 and 5's trailers both came out in January so maybe this month

I feel for George.

No artist should be pressured into delivering something unless it's in their own time. He's facing pressures 99% of the writers in the world will never face, and he's an old man too facing a GARGANTUAN ever-changing universe filled with dozens of intertwining and convoluted plotlines and archs that spawn thousands of years for some characters like The Night's King for example. I'm glad he said his peace, people should back off.

All in all I'm excited to read the books and dreading to see how many women they'll kill and rape in the TV show. That is all.

I can't wait to read winds of winter in 2018 and a dream of spring in 2030 or at his deathbed incompleted which ever is first. All care about is the quality, if he continue to deliver masterpiece, what is a couple of decades of wait.

I know, right? It did nothing for me. I need actual season 6 scenes to get me hyped. That and the actual season 6 poster unless that Jon Snow one is the real season poster, but it doesn't really fit in with all the others. It seemed more like a teaser poster.

I know. Even if we don't use Rowling as an example (from book 1 to book 7 in 10 years) cuz Harry's not Epic, look at the far more prolific and more-talented-than-Martin Brandon Sanderson. He's like a one-man factory; since his first book was published in 2005, he's released 8 novels, 7 novellas, 7 YA/children's novels, plus did most of the actual writing for 3 long-ass Wheel of Time novels that were mostly just in outline form.
