For instance, what would you do if a police officer asked you to describe an attacker you had seen. Their race would be kind of important in catching them because it would be easier to identify.
still identifying as latino even if we do but abolishing race doesnt solve anything. Speaking form a US perspective, our way of categorizing races needs to change

there are more things you can describe a person instead of using race plus race nowadays can be a bigger hindrance since people can easily pass for a different race
