Movie: Tarantino's The Hateful Eight

Anyone else watched this? I just saw it for the second time today (70mm Roadshow screening) and I love it. Sam Jackson, Walter Goggins and Jennifer Jason Leigh all delivered. I think I'd rank it in the middle of Tarantino's films. Just a fair warning it takes a while to get into it but if you're patient the payoff at the end is satisfying. My only real problem with it was Tarantino's narration was stupid and unnecessary.

I thought it was cool. Some people said it was too gory, but I thought it was hilarious since the blood was so exaggerated. When they started vomiting blood

And it had that Tarantino vibe to it, which always makes movies like these more fun.

Loved it. Was disappointed in the fact that everyone died cuz I was kinda rooting for Daisy but it was still a great film.

It's more of a stage play pretending to be a film, though, which is why it starts out so slow.

I'm the biggest Tarantino fan in here , I'm in love with every movie he made( even deathproof and Jakie Brown) but this I really do not like this movie AT ALL, it was my biggest decepcion of the year, I cannot find anything of him in this, where sre the smart character? The Tarantino's dialogue? Where are the popculture thing that he has ? The ultra violence was there but it feels rush and out of place, there is not a good character or a big one like in every movie of him, the score was weak ( ouch Sorry Morricone) this is only Tarantino playing with a camara and thats it

I watched the 70mm screener, which was amazing and theater was packed and received a great response form the crowd which is always great when you're seeing a movie.

The movie itself is nice not one of his best, but not necessarily bad. I liked all the characters especially Daisy and The Sheriff. It does get messy at times tho, buts its loads of fun and it felt rather short given its three hour run time. In the end I thoroughly enjoyed the whole film

but I can understand why some people were disappointed

One thing tho the score was amazing just astonishing

But I still kinda loved it.

As for the part about no good characters, the film is called "The Hateful Eight" for a reason. It was made with the intention of not having a single character that's good. All of them were evil. But in that, it shows which characters you identify more with and root for in the end even amidst all of their hatefulness. But he still handled it well considering how bad all the characters were since literally all of them died .
