Miles Away, for Madonna, became her biggest hit off Hard Candy in Japan. It was the best-selling digital single of 2008 in Japan and won three trophies at the 23rd Japan Gold Disc Awards. It also received three music certifications from the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) for it´s sales. At the 23rd annual Japan Gold Disc Awards, "Miles Away" won three awards as "Mastertone of the Year", "Mobile Single Track of the Year" and "Online Single Track of the Year".

Masterpiece, for Madonna, peaked at number one in Russia´s Top 100, topped the Billboard Russia Airplay chart and reached #1 on the TopHit 100 Russian airplay chart. The song stayed at the Russian Top 100 for 48 weeks.

Gaga's Eh Eh (Nothing Else I Can Say) went Top 10 in New Zealand and Top 15 in Australia. Not really huge, but more than what it did in the US (where it wasn't released).

Really? I thought all these were hits.

Why was there a radio blackout? Did she get blacklisted?

"Me against the music" was a hit to me. Everyone at school knew the song and the choreography from the video.

Rumor Has It that Clear Channel was pissed that she chose a different promoter for the Dream Within a Dream Tour, so they banned all her songs until she went back to Clear Channel for the Onyx Hotel Tour (which apparently happened too late for MATM).

OT: Hung Up. It didn't flop, but it went #1 in every other country it charted in besides Ireland and New Zealand, where it peaked at #2. It only peaked at #7 in the US. It's one of her best songs too, it makes no sense

All these songs reached the Top 10 in at least 15 countries sans the US.

She was blacklisted because Jive went with AEG to sponsor the tour. Clear Channel didn't approve of the decision so they banned Britney halfway from Slave to halfway from MATM until they sponsored her in The Onyx Tour in which Toxic benefited greatly. All her singles from Slave to MATM didn't reach the Top 20.
