I just got a ps4 and I have a $PSN network card. I was wondering if it was worth getting the Final Fantasy XIV Heavnsword or realm reborn ( I don't really understand the difference). Any thoughts on the game overall?

also would you buy the X/X2 instead if you had the option

Heavensword is an entire games worth of DLC content if you can afford it go get it.
I played the demo to XIV it's tons of fun.

edit keep in mind Heavensword is just the expansion not the full base game.

The fees are very manageable tbh but it's not for everyone so I can understand if that aspect turns you off.

But it's severely outdated with old PS1 era attack animations

I ended up with the PC version cause it came with a bundle of games for 6 dollars online.

It's a fun game if you enjoy FF and MMOs. I played it for a month but that was enough to convince me that it was better than several FFs.
