Of course. Rihanna is severely misunderstood. If you watch some of the videos online of her meeting fans, you'll see that she really cares. Of course, there are occasions where she has ignored or even sometimes assaulted her fans but we all have moments of weakness.

I think she cares, but I wish she cared more. Lately she seems very ungrateful. Fans can make or break an artist. The whole ANTi thing isn't something the Navy is going to forget. She doesn't owe us an explanation of course, but it would be nice to be considerate to the people who give you their money to pay for your weed
No, she has too many personal issues of her own but it's not really popstar's jobs to care about us. That's why we have real role models around us (parents, teachers, friends, ourselves)
She owes her fans at least somewhat of an update on what's going on. Just say "It's still in the works guys! Sorry for the delay!" or "I'm in the end stage of my new album! I hope I can have this out soon!" . To leave your fans in purgatory for a whole year filled with 'soon's" is annoying. Especially after you've already released a lead single, are doing tons of magazine covers and announcing tour dates.
She is allowed to do whatever she wants. If it really takes too long. I suspect Katy would whispers in her ears the necessary words to make her release.
