So true and sad. I knew so many brilliant minority students who loved tech but were never given the same opportunities to study it that their white colleagues were. It sucks because it often means underprivileged students interested in tech have a much bigger threshold to cross if they want to get into that field, and ultimately land a job at one of these tech giants like Twitter, Google, Apple, etc.

It makes stories like this all the more disappointing tbh.
