Even if I was a guy I wouldn't though. I don't see why people HAVE to spit. I know some people chew tobacco but it seems like most of the time people spit just to spit.
Only when I really need to. Like sometime my throat feels congested due to the air/cold or when I'm sick. I usually try not to make it so obvious like doing it front of a girl though. Or alternatively I use a paper towel if I have one. And mess at people acting like it's the most disgusting thing. There's nothing un-hygienic about spitting on something that birds poop on or dogs pee on.
I remember shouting at this boy at school because he spat on the grass and he apologized to me
