What are we supposed to do with 17 million people living in a super small area
Walk, cycle, use public transport. The Netherlands (Amsterdam especially) is still a really good example of what an urban environment should be despite having a high road density.
Most people here do go by bike or public transport. I mean it's still pretty bad but atleast we're not Belgium. Like, I'm in Antwerp right now and it's so smoggy
Um Small countries with lots of people have lots of roads close together. Russia is 90% wilderness so of course it would be green. Most of the green countries are poorly developed.
