As a South Asian myself, I am not offended in the least. Context is key, and there is such a definitive lack of malicious intent here that I can't help but roll my eyes. The treatment of sick women (and men and children) in countries such as India/Pakistan/China/any number of other countries is horrible and at a complete disadvantage to treatment of the same in the US/Canada...but that has nothing to do with this. An absolute straw man argument.
