oscar teas...dont mean to be harsh but unless that woman lives on alone and her daughter does not a spare key or visit her then this is on her. Why couldnt she turn on the lights? Why couldnt she shout a warning? Why couldnt she just shout 'hello!? Who's there?' why couldnt lock herself in her bedroom and call the cops? Why was killing the first thing that appealed to her?

This whole situation sounds very fishy to me.

Either the daughter was at fault or the mother.

If I wasn't expecting any visitors my mother better make her presence be known if she comes in my place during the middle of the night.
