Okay, I'll listen to them in 2016. I'm fixing my 2015 plays right now.
Marilyn Manson... My bro Kavish loves him to death.
Because he is a dark emo.
But I'm scared of him. I need to tell you I like listening songs by good-looking artists and Marilyn Manson is very ugly. However, I like his song with Avril Lavigne.
5. Florence + the Machine - How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful
I remember the endless stan wars about which Florence is better - the fairy/water nymph playing with her harp and glitter from Lungs, or the more elegant, maybe more sophisticated and a even a bit glamour one from Ceremonials. Let's leave it though, and think about what would happen if she went down to Earth and start both clothing and recording in a more organic way. Yes, How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful would happen.
Florence + the Machine, their newest album is their most consistent and cohesive body of work. While Lungs and Ceremonials are records where the standouts are rather obvious, and kind of outshine the other tracks, here the quality is really high all the way through. Both the singer and her band seem very focused, you can feel as if they always had one certain aim with the longplay, and they were constantly trying to reach it in the most spectacular way. And it works! How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful is not as magical as Lungs nor as bombastic as Ceremonials, instead it's an organic record which definitely has its own spirit and heart. There are much more electric guitars and drums than before, which leads the songs in a bit different direction but doesn't make them lose their special atmosphere. However, the most big, blue and beautiful thing about it is simply Florence. As I've mentioned earlier, she might not be a very emotive vocalist, but she makes all the little pieces of the tracks work both on their own, and as a sum. You can really feel the love she herself felt when she recorded the album.
I hosted its Album Survivor. I closed it yesterday after 1.5-months hiatus. Flor is too British to me. I hate British accent, and it's clearly hearable in her songs...
Hmm I think HBHBHB is still my least favorite from them but you had a good explanation for why you liked it and it makes sense. I mean a more down to earth FaTM album was bound to happen.
Rushing, tearing, speeding home
Bound to a wheel that is not my own
This is how heaven sounds. None of you will probably ever get there, me neither, but at least now you know
Joking aside, Anecdotes solely explains why I love Joanna Newsom so much. I can appreciate the little Have One on Me nostalgia in Sapokanikan, I can appreciate her passionate vocal delivery in Leaving the City, I can appreciate the interesting composition of Goose Eggs, I can appreciate the incredible instrumental ending in Waltz of the 101st Lightborne, I can appreciate the little weirdness in The Things I Say, I can appreciate the spacious and organic title track, I can appreciate her take on the traditional song Same Old Man, I can appreciate one of the most catchy choruses on the album in You Will Not Take My Heart Alive, I can appreciate the darker atmosphere of A Pin-Light Bent, I can appreciate the natural beauty of Time, As a Symptom... or I can simply appreciate Anecdotes. It has a bit of everything I've mentioned but is also an incredible song on its own, with all its changes in sound, all the instrumental parts, and all the vocal parts. Even though it's rather slow and subtle, it's one of the most exciting tracks of the year for me.

4. Joanna Newsom - Divers
Eh, have you ever thought about how unfair musical business is? Some artists (or mainstream products, if you wish) work hard, try hard, sometimes do too much, yet still cannot achieve 10% of the perfection the others can create and re-create with ease. Just like Joanna Awesom Newsom. Divers is just another evidence that she is not physically capable of recording a bad song.
Divers is not a huge change in style or genre, so of course it somehow resembles of her earlier work. The longplay as a whole has a bit of a Have One on Me feeling, despite it's much more accessible, but there is even a distant echo of her debut (possibly the most passionate track on the album, Leaving the City). But when we get past the obvious stuff, it's really hard to describe Joanna's new album. What's more - it's even harder to describe the feelings I have when listening to it. It's just such an... otherworldly experience. And that's probably the craziest thing about it. Her music is just as organic (and unsurprising!) as it could get, yet feels like it has been made by a much more mighty being, a Goddess or something. I'd risk saying it's, in its own special way, a visual album. In opposite to Bey though, Joanna paints the picture using only her harp, piano and vocals. Each song not only has its own palette of colours, but also each song is just as beautiful, if not more, as the album cover.
As Joanna is the the Taylor Swift of folk and didn't put any of her music on streaming services, I'd recommend going onto iTunes or to your local music store to grab a vinyl, I don't know. Oh, you can also watch the budget music video for the gorgeous title track:
Welp, that's because I didn't have anything ready and was too lazy to make a list from scratch. I've promised to make my debut next year tho.
Oh, I get it. Making the list is honestly a horrible thing, like, I'd probably even now change a few things. But I'll look forward to your next year's countdown

Omg, everything about it
His emo era ended in 2007 or whichever year EMDM was released, he's (relatively) normal now. The song with Avril was... an interesting experiment.

I still don't know whether I prefer Lungs or HBHBHB, it depends on my mood really, but I definitely think Ceremonials is the weakest. It has some outstanding highlights too, but it's really overbearing to listen to the entire thing at once.
