I just dont understand why this is doing so well? It's such a bland song to me, of course bland songs get played on radio a lot, so no surprise here :P

Deserved. I've come accross people that don't usually care about Selena that much saying that they had to download this song to listen to it more often!

Not surprised. It's more catchy than GFY, & is worth more repeated listens than C&GI (which aged terribly compared to her current material).

And then if you want to consider THWWIW, SOL is more poppy.

But in all seriousness, I am glad this is her biggest radio hit yet. Same Old Love is a great, catchy pop song. However, Hands To Myself will definitely eclipse that peak and audience imo.
