The thing with Avril and Taylor is they at least stick with their supposed "talent" and don't try and dabble in too much in singer-turned-actress thing or actress-turned-singer. Taylor and Avril are pretty much equivalents of Hilary in terms of vocals (meaning they're all quite ****) but it's especially easy to dog Hilary when a) she a very limited actress and b) she's a very limited singer and c) she's so God damned determined to show us she can do both but never quite demonstrates excessive talents as a singer or an actress. When you can't sell albums or have hit songs like Taylor and Avril, I guess you gotta try your hand at everything.

Anyway, as far as Gossip Girl plots go, I enjoyed this part of the episode, even if it did seem stiff all around.
