Taylor's high school crush arrested for child abuse

Andrew Hardwick, who famously inspired the pop star’s 2007 hit “Teardrops on My Guitar,” was charged Saturday with abusing a 3-year-old girl, The Tennessean reports.
The 27-year-old was arrested in Hendersonville, Tenn., after police found the child had sustained a concussion and “severe bruising and lacerations” to her head. The injuries were so serious that the child was airlifted to a children’s hospital for treatment.
Swift name-checked Hardwick in her tearful ballad as “Drew,” a teen oblivious to Swift’s crush on him, lamenting that he was the “reason for the teardrops on (her) guitar.”
