I've yet to see an artist with music on both services say that they get more money from Apple music streaming than Spotify.
Someone must have supplied the music to Spotify (the labels perhaps?) Perhaps the label doesn't hold publishing rights and didn't provide the correct information? It's not unreasonable to think that with over 30 million (?) songs, there is going to be some mismatched data.
