I like ballads, I do not like Dope because I do not like her vocals on the track. And I have zero opposition to a ballad such as this being on her next record. I agree that it will appeal to people that songs like Venus do not and I can also agree that it will give her a certain kind of respect. But I think you're wrong in trying to state that she cant get that same respect with something electronic.
Power balladry over electro =/= more serious approach. thats all im sayin.
You have no idea what you're talking about honestly.

At this point in her career she cannot, I'm sorry but it's painfully obvious. It would only derail what she had done in 2015. All of her performances were acclaimed; from her Stevie Wonder tribute to her Oscars' performance which were all unmistakably more mature than her previous sound. It would be like taking one step forward and taking two steps back.
She could use elements of dance music (and I hope she does) in one or two songs but I'm willing to bet it'll be hardly noticeable.
Also; side-note to anyone thinking this is how the song will sound in the end with piano thumping etc, most songs are recorded with a piano first but it later gets replaced with bass lines and whatnot.
That last part was so unnecessary but you do you if it makes you feel any better I guess.
