The latest victim is a 54-year-old man who was pushed, kicked and called gay slurs during the attack on Tuesday night in the Oak Lawn neighborhood in Dallas, Texas.
The unnamed victim is believed to be the fourteenth in a series of robberies and brutal attacks targeting gay men in the area, where more than a dozen gay bars are located, since September.
Dallas police Assistant Chief Randall Blankenbaker told WFAA news that the victim was knocked to the ground, kicked and had his belongings taken from him during the attack around 10.30pm in the parking lot behind the Round-Up Saloon, a gay bar.
‘At least one of the suspects used offensive language in reference to the victim’s perceived sexual orientation,’ the police spokesman said.
The suspects are believed to be two white men who are around six feet tall and have not yet been identified by police.
Police have called the Tuesday attack a ‘bias crime’, also known as a hate crime.
Many victims reported that their attackers had made slurs referencing the victim’s perceived sexual orientation during the attacks.
‘The offenses were committed by one black male, by two black males, by three black males, by three Latino males, by two white males, by unknown description males, by a black male and Latina female,’ Blankenbaker said.
Many victims who were attacked in the area suffered severe injuries. One man was hospitalized with a skull fracture and another man had multiple stab wounds.
A task force has been created to investigate the cases.

I'm aware but be clear because some people on here want an excuse for everything.
