Now I do love all of the shows you listed but I don't think this show is boring, I just think the heads of the show put all of their eggs in the mother - whom I love - but the other characters fall flat except for, at times, the two youngest and the grandma. I am disappointed in the father and the oldest child; they're really not funny.
IA. The father should be written off with a death and she can be single mother.
