Celeb News: Miranda Lambert receives backlash for fur coat

Immediately after posting the snapshot, the “Little Red Wagon” singer was bombarded with messages blasting her decision to wear fur.

“Sorry, I love you dearly, but I don’t agree with this,” one commenter wrote. “I don’t agree with animals dying for coats.”

Quipped another user wrote, “Not cool for animal lover Miranda.”

Why kill just for a fur coat? We don't need comfort from fur anymore and the only reason we should be killing animals is for their meat.

The 'problem' here is that people realize the value/worth inside these animals who involuntarily die for the sake of fashion. They're cruelly killed just so Lady Gaga can walk around New York City in her new fabulous and expensive fur coat.

I dunno from which fur the coat is made but imagine that you would kill some rabbits for meat. Would you throw away the fur if you could use it just because some people don't agree with it? Of course killing ONLY for fur is bad.

That isn't how irony works. If you're going to kill an animal, at least put it to good use (wearing it on your back isn't putting it to good use). And it doesn't matter if she paid for it or not, she's still prancing around in her new coat, glorifying it as if it's some sort of valuable treasure.
