It's not very hard. But you can't learn any language in less than a year. There are very few exceptions. I'm learning it and it's a bit difficult to grasp certain things because it's so similar to Spanish that I mix the two up.

Lies. I literally learned Ancient Greek (which is harder than most modern languages) in a month. As long as you constantly study the language, it is easy to learn.

It's not that hard tbh but only if you're dedicated enough. I did it in high school (5 years) and that was probably my best time ever learning it. University's a different ball game though. I'm more better with understanding and writing than I am with speaking. And it's like my third language so

The verbs and the exceptions drive me mental though. So glad that next year's my final year of studying it.

It mainly depends on whether language comes naturally to you or not. It's pretty much the same difficulty level as the other romance languages.

Basic italian is not bad, but speaking to people was difficult for me. They all spoke it depending on where they were from

Compared to like, Mandarin? Yes it should be easy especially if you already speak Spanish.

Since you speak Spanish I doubt it would be hard. Most of the italian speakers I know are actually hispanic

It's very easy to learn, but there are a seemingly infinite amount of conjugations once you get into the advanced portions. Nouns are difficult for me to remember because I have 8 years of Spanish on my belt, and I mix up Italian/Spanish words so easily.

ok I'm Italian and some quick facts:

we don't have cases like in German, only female, male, single, plural

verbs you only need present, future and one of the pasts, usually passato prossimo, the rest is not used.

you only need indicative to be understood, conditional and conjuctive are not necessary

learn how to pronounce, what you read is always what you pronounce but make an effort. some tricks: ch is k, i is always ee, e is always a
