No, because then you're not giving customers freedom of choice.
Gaga bundled free copies of Born This Way with BestBuy merchandise, but it didn't count on Billboard because you received the album anyway just because you wanted to buy a TV.
U2 put Songs Of Freedom on everybody's iTunes, but that didn't count either because you never had the option to reject their offer.
Without money, it's not a sale. But without options, it's not a choice either. By right Billboard should be laughing her out the door. This isn't the way you do business. She should be grateful they're even entertaining this idea.
