National numbers will be more meaningful after the first 2 states. As of right now they don't mean a lot, they are nice to brag about but if Trump does not take Iowa or NH his national numbers are going to tank.

Just astounding. Regardless of whether you're a Hillary or Bernie supporter, I think we can all agree that it's great to see so many people engaging with the election this time round, especially after the low voter turnout for the midterms.

With that said, to the Hillary stans who want to write Bernie off solely as someone who's purpose is to push Hillary left and then peter out, I think we can safely put that assertion to bed.

I'm not trying to denounce Hillary. I think she's a very strong candidate and she's still the frontrunner, but I think it's important for both the Dems and the GOP to realize that polls are not actual votes yet, and there's still some time before the first primary. Polls do not necessarily reflect voter turnout or outcome.

The fact that Bernie has managed to break Obama's fundraising record means something. Bernie's not out of this race just yet.

This upsets me because the DNC is clearly rigging the debate schedule to favor Hillary. The more people hear about Bernie, the more they like him and the more support he gets.

The debates are the best way for him to reach potential supporters, and it's just frustrating to see the DNC try to stifle public opinion by manipulating the number of debates and the debate days.

Nope I agree with you. That's why even though I definitely prefer Clinton over Sanders, I learned back in 2008 being the front runner so early doesn't mean the race is over.

It was a strongest debate yet from Bernie and Hillary both IMO. O'Malley came out looking bad. He kept interrupting to try to score more time but the moderators weren't having it.

I think the most notable part of the debate was Bernie's apology to Hillary, and her acceptance of his apology. No nastiness. Very cordial, and a very stark contrast to the continuing cluster**** of the GOP debate.

Eh. It already did, anything Trump says is magnified in he media. Won't affect her at all though because the argument doesn't make sense. Attacking Bill for something he has been attacked at for decades won't change anything in the race now because it has absolutely nothing to do with Hillary herself.

I don't know. We live in a different time, full of social media and social justice. I don't think it has really blown up yet. Plus, it would affect her ability to run as a champion of women considering the role she played during the controversies back then. I've been watching the news, and you can tell some Dems are worried about it.

Yeah they are, they should be if she's using him as support. It's true we live in a different time, I still personally don't see it affecting much but I could be wrong. I didn't think the email thing was gonna be as big as its was.

She still has done many great things for women. If she can basically keep that as her image and not something her husband did in his sex life then she should come out unscathed.
