Just astounding. Regardless of whether you're a Hillary or Bernie supporter, I think we can all agree that it's great to see so many people engaging with the election this time round, especially after the low voter turnout for the midterms.
With that said, to the Hillary stans who want to write Bernie off solely as someone who's purpose is to push Hillary left and then peter out, I think we can safely put that assertion to bed.
I'm not trying to denounce Hillary. I think she's a very strong candidate and she's still the frontrunner, but I think it's important for both the Dems and the GOP to realize that polls are not actual votes yet, and there's still some time before the first primary. Polls do not necessarily reflect voter turnout or outcome.
The fact that Bernie has managed to break Obama's fundraising record means
something. Bernie's not out of this race just yet.
