Her label also did not want Toxic as a single because it was too pop for the time. She made a wise choice fighting for that to be the single. The label wanted Got That (Boom Boom). That dated mess

Without Toxic, she literally would have no pop classic, no critically acclaimed song, nor Grammy so I would say she did a good job there. Outrageous I never much cared for. Always thought it to be a cheap rip-off of Beyonces Naughty Girl which had Usher as a cameo.
