Comparing the likeliness of someone like kesha to have a comeback like Adele did is incredibly unrealistic and whoever's responsible for releasing this statement on behalf of such a huge corporation like Sony, deserve a smack on their heads.

Actually, I wouldn't mind if kesha ends up scoring the injunction. Sony deserves to lose for releasing something as stupid as this attempt is.

Is there a jury? Or just a judge? I'm sure Kesha's lawyer would be able to argue that she hasn't received the success of Adele, acclaim of D'Angelo or longevity of JT. It's a moot point and Kesha's affidavit is a much stronger case for why she should be granted the injunction than "but Adele did it!! JT!!?1" is from Sony for why she shouldn't.

Sorry but the difference between Kesha and those other artists is the type of audience they have. And JT kept himself relevant and highly visible during his music hiatus.

I think its because they have some things in common. Like Kesha's total album sales WW have a similar number to 25's first week numbers.
